An Illinois woman was arrested on U.S. 30 after she failed to yield to a parked emergency vehicle with its lights activated.
On Saturday, September 28th, just after 10 p.m., Deputy Matt Geiger with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Reserve Deputy Dan Overmeyer, stopped a black 2022 Kia SUV on U.S. 30 west of King Road for failure to yield to a parked emergency vehicle with its emergency lights activated.
The driver, 32-year-old Ivania Zuinga Franco of Oak Park, Illinois, was arrested for operator never licensed. She was booked in the Marshall County Jail and held on a $100 cash bond.
