Marshall County Police were dispatched to the 4000 block of East Shore Drive at Lake of the Woods on Friday for a domestic exchange between a couple.
Officers responded at 8:45 p.m. and identified the male subject as 44-year-old Troy Bowman. The female was identified as 37-year-old Charlotte Raab.
The couple was engaged in a verbal altercation that had turned physical.

County officers found that Bowman had scratch marks and blood on his neck, and Raab had an injured and bloody nose. Both were arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor. They were each held on a $500 cash bond.
Charlotte Raab was able to post the cash bond on Sunday at 12:08 a.m. and was released on bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
