On Wednesday, Officer Bennett with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department released details of an October 11 arrest.
About 3:45 p.m., a county K-9 Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle that was reportedly swerving all over the road on State Road 17 near Glenn Overmyer Drive.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kenneth Jordan, 60, and during the traffic stop, suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle.
Jordan was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Plymouth Police Department and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
