The Marshall County Commissioners and Drainage Board meet today at 8:30 and 9:30 in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.
The Drainage Board will discuss the Sequel Wire & Cable construction with the drainage easement on the Myers Tile Arm. There is also a petition to assume jurisdiction over a private mutual drain within the Snyder-Crothers watershed, along with a petition to place a portion of the ditch under maintenance.
The Drainage Board agenda also includes a variance from John Bontrager for the Bates Arm and discussion of the maintenance assessments on the Gall Unsicker watershed.
At 9:30, the County Commissioners will hear from the Highway Superintendent and ratify the INDOT County Bridge Inspection contract. The County Clerk will discuss election work pay, and the Human Resources Administrator will present a Sick Bank request.
John Grolich will ask for funding from the Marshall County Public Safety Grant for area fire departments, and the County Attorney will give his report.
The Commissioners' agenda also includes the County Auditor’s Report, Public Comments, and an amendment to the Personnel Handbook. They will also discuss the sale of vehicles for Older Adult Services, consider an agreement with Apex Waste Services and discuss Trustee Work Release meals.
Both county meetings are open to the public and will be streamed live on the County’s YouTube channel.
