County Sheriff Matt Hassel was granted a pre-pay request for new patrol vehicles during Monday’s Commissioner meeting.
The sheriff said Oliver Ford Lincoln received the three patrol vehicles ordered by the county. They are ready to be delivered but he needs a check when they pick them up.
Sheriff Hassel said he wanted to pick up the vehicles on Wednesday and asked the commissioners to approve the prepay so the Auditor could prepare the payment. The total cost for all three vehicles was $134,085. The sheriff said he would be paying $14,085 of the cost out of the Jail Commissary Fund.
The commissioners approved the prepay request.
