Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) announced its 2025 Community Impact Grant recipients.
The Community Impact Grants program is a competitive funding program which seeks to meet community needs through broad, flexible grantmaking. Grants awarded through the Community Impact Grants program are funded by PCCF’s Community Impact funds, unrestricted endowments, which are designed for the general benefit of the community.
PCCF recently awarded over $200,000 in Community Impact Grants to 11 community partners serving Putnam County. Awards will fund the following:
· Beyond Homeless, Inc. – Shelter technology upgrade
· City of Greencastle – Emerald Palace 2.0 parks project
· Cloverdale Community Schools – Knoy After-School Program
· Cloverdale Elementary School – Every Child Deserves to be Educated Pre-K program
· Greencastle Community Schools – The GCSC Preschool Growth Initiative
· Greencastle Presbyterian Church – Servants at Work (SAWs) program
· Indiana American Academy of Pediatrics – Reach Out and Read program
· Lakeland Center, Inc. – Operation Hoof Print
· North Putnam High School – JAG Pathways: Empowering Futures and Strengthening Community
· Olivia Kaye Organization – See the Signs; Save a Life program
· Putnam County Playhouse – Sound system renovation
PCCF’s Grants Committee reviews applications from eligible organizations each year and recommends grant awards to the Board of Directors for final approval. To support more strategic funding decisions and better align with the priority areas identified in PCCF's 2023 Community Needs Assessment, the Grants Committee made updates to the Community Grants program in 2025. The program has been renamed Community Impact Grants, and the number of grant cycles has been reduced from two to one.
“The Community Impact Grants program reflects our commitment to making meaningful, strategic investments in Putnam County,” said Jenny Neureiter, Director of Donor and Grantee Services at PCCF. “By focusing our efforts through a single grant cycle and aligning with the needs identified by our community, we can ensure these dollars create the greatest possible impact for local organizations and the people they serve.”
The Community Impact Grants program has one annual cycle which opens in January. Details including the full program guidelines and timeline are available at pcfoundation.org/grants.
