Quotes were opened Monday during the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety for a pickup truck for the Water Department and two pickup trucks for the Wastewater Department.
The base quote for the Water Department from Oliver Ford was for a 2025 3/4-ton pickup truck for $50,276. Davidson is trading in a 2006 F150 and Oliver Ford offered $1,500 for it so the bottom line was $48,776. Oliver Ford also quoted two trucks for the Wastewater Department. The base quote was for $52,310 each or $104,620 for both. The quote included the trade-in of a 1996 F250 and a 2004 F250 for a combined price of $1,300. The bottom line for the two trucks for the Wastewater Department was $103,320.
The Auto Park’s base quote for the Dodge Ram 2500 for the Water Department was $42,625.28 each. The trade-in value of the 2006 F250 was $2,500 for a net quote of $40,125.28. Auto Park’s base quote for two 3/4 ton pickups for the Wastewater Department was $42,625.28 x 2 with a combined trade-in value of $3,500 for the two trucks making the net quote of $40,125 each.
Superintendent Davidson asked to take the quotes under advisement for review and will make his recommendation at the next city meeting on February 24.
