Jail Bookings
The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Richard C. Dorstewitz, 37, Coloma, Mich., was arrested Thursday on a preliminary charge of reckless driving. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at U.S. 31 and Wabash Avenue and later released on his own recognizance.

• Jace H. Erikson, 30, Culver, was arrested Thursday on warrants charging him with domestic battery, theft and battery resulting in bodily injury. He was picked up at the Putnamville Correctional Facility and held without bond.

• Brandy N. Maple, 22, 415 Fulton Ave., Rochester, was arrested Thursday on preliminary charges of battery against a public safety official and public intoxication. She was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies after allegedly running up to a residence at 3061 E. 200 North and trying to open the door. She was held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond.

• Aaron D. Bailey, 47, 892 N. Paradise Drive, Rochester, was arrested Friday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court. He was taken into custody by city police in the 1000 block of Fulton Avenue and held without bond.

Police Incidents
Ordinance related
• On Wednesday morning, city police left warning notices for trash/junk at the following properties: 339 Ohio St., 530 E. Fourth St., 215 E. Fourth St. and 119 W. Third St.
Trespass request
• A woman residing the 1300 block of Main Street requested that her ex-husband be issued a no trespassing warning after he allegedly was at her home banging on doors and trying to get in Wednesday afternoon.
Wrecks
• Shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday, a woman reported that a male driver pulling a pontoon boat had backed into her vehicle earlier at Casey's General Store, 1811 Indiana 14 East. He reportedly requested she not call police and provided a business card. She requested documentation should he refuse to pay for damages.
• Shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that a minor vehicle collision occurred earlier in the day at the intersection of State Road 25 North and 14.
Animal call
• At 7:23 p.m. Wednesday, a woman requested to speak with an officer at Rochester Police Department after allegedly seeing someone kick their dog. She noted the dog has not been the same since.
Noise complaint
• At 1:36 a.m. Thursday, police received a complaint that a group of juveniles were playing loud music at the boat ramp along East Ninth Street.
Thefts
• At 11:28 a.m. Thursday, police received a report that a pink ballerina bar was again stolen from a yard at Arbor Woods Apartments, 500 Mitchell Drive. It was later located, with the individual in possession saying they thought it was trash, as it was by a dumpster.
• Shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that a riding lawnmower was stolen from a backyard at 7717 S. State Road 25, Fulton.
Juvenile detained
• A male juvenile was detained during a traffic stop around 6 p.m. Thursday at Apache Drive and 18th Street. He was transported to Woodlawn Hospital and subsequently released, with charging information for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia sent to the prosecutor's office for consideration.
Fight
• At 7:01 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a verbal altercation between a man and woman in the parking lot of Kroger, 2040 Peace Tree Village. Police records indicate that a charge of driving after having been judged a habitual traffic violator was to be considered after the man admitted to driving to the store.
