Blue River Community Foundation has announced four finalists for the 2027 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship in Shelby County.
Seniors Jessica Price and Shay Schiloski represent Shelbyville High School.
Also selected were Waldron senior Avery Haehl and Morristown senior Abby Hawk.
The quartet were selected by the BRCF Scholarship Committee through a blinded evaluation process where the names are removed from the application. That allows the committee to select based on merit.
The four now advance to the personal interview phase on Oct. 2.
The recipient of the award will be announced in December.
The Lilly Scholarship provides a student with full tuition, required fees and book stipend for four years at an accredited college or university in the state of Indiana.
