Beacon Credit Union recently donated $1,000 to Joe’s Hope.
“Joe's Hope was created as a tribute to Joe Shidler who lost his battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L) at the young age of 19. Joe's Hope now helps people that are battling with cancer pay their monthly vehicle or mortgage payments or simply help with household expenses. They also started helping fund kids lunch debt in the Rochester Community Schools,” shared Rochester Member Center Managers Erica Rude and Julie Shriver.
“We are grateful to have an organization like Joe's Hope in Fulton County. We know by giving a donation the money will be distributed back into our community to families that need it,” Rude and Shriver explained.
