Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to a residence in the 11,000 block of State Road 17 on Tuesday, July 22nd, for a domestic incident.
Deputy Wozniak arrived shortly after 10 PM, spoke with both parties, and determined a domestic incident had occurred between a male and female.
Following the officer’s investigation, it was determined that 48-year-old Oscar J. Andrade, 48, of the State Road 17 address had physically battered 37-year-old Lana Gray.
Andrade was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for battery and held on a $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed, and there is only probable cause to believe that a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
