4C Health proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary milestone in 2025, marking five decades of service and impact in the behavioral health field.
As part of this celebration, 4C Health hosted a commemorative event in Howard County, honoring those who have made significant
contributions to mental health in the region. This year, 4C Health launched its inaugural Behavioral Health Champions awards, an initiative that
will now be celebrated annually. Among the distinguished recipients was Dr. Teni Helmberger, who was named the Educator Champion of the Year 2025.
Dr. Helmberger serves as the Director of Student Support Services at Kokomo School Corporation. Her recognition highlights a longstanding and impactful partnership between Kokomo Schools and 4C Health—a collaboration that began nearly 12 years ago. Together, they have worked to prioritize the mental health of students as a foundation for academic success.
Dr. Helmberger’s leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to student wellness have made her an exemplary advocate and partner in promoting mental health across educational settings.
“Dr. Helmberger has been a steadfast leader in creating safe, supportive environments for students,” said Dr. Carrie Cadwell, CEO of 4C Health. “Her dedication to student mental health aligns with our mission and reflects the kind of partnership we are proud to celebrate during this
milestone year.”
