The Plymouth First United Methodist Church invites residents to join for food and fellowship at its free monthly community meal.
Held on the last Wednesday of every month (October 28), the meal is served from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the church's fellowship hall at 400 North Michigan Street, next to Red D Mart.
Organizers emphasize that the free meal is open to everyone in the community. Whether you're a senior citizen looking for a chance to socialize, a low-income individual or family needing food assistance, or someone who doesn't feel like cooking or eating alone, all are welcome to attend.
This month’s free, comforting meal features scalloped potatoes and ham, green beans, a dinner roll, fruit, and cookies for dessert.
To accommodate everyone's needs and comfort levels, the church is offering the meal for both dine-in and carry-out.
