On Sunday, May 19th, at about 7:40 in the evening, the Marshall County Dispatch Center requested Plymouth Police Officers be en route to 203 East Garro Street for a female who was on the phone to them crying.
Sergeant Ryan Richey arrived on the scene at the northeast corner of Garro and Water Streets and located the female in apartment D. After further investigation at the scene, 31-year-old Luis F. Granados-Estrada of the Garro Street address was arrested for domestic battery.
Granados-Estrada was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked into the jail for domestic battery. He was held on a $500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
