The 2026 Tree Trot 5K Run/Walk is April 18 at Blue River Memorial Park in Shelbyville.
The event is a fundraiser to purchase and plant trees throughout the Blue River Memorial Park Cross Country course, 725 Lee Boulevard.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the course on April 18. Racing begins at 8 a.m.
Each age group winner (male and female) will receive a handmade medal and a plotted tree sampling.
Age groupings are 12-and-under, 13-18, 19-45 and 45-plus.
