Oak Hill Cemetery is preparing for its annual spring cleanup, and families are being asked to temporarily remove decorations from grave sites.
Mike Collins, Plymouth's Oak Hill Cemetery sexton, announced that loved ones should remove all decorations they wish to keep by Sunday, March 8th. Any items remaining at grave sites after that date will be discarded as part of the cemetery's seasonal maintenance.
The cleanup allows cemetery staff to perform necessary grounds maintenance, including trimming, mowing, and preparing the cemetery for the spring and summer seasons.
Families may begin placing decorations back on grave sites starting Saturday, March 14th.
