Marshall County Hope is a free program that offers recovery coaching, community connections, transportation, and community support groups. They've served the people in Marshall County struggling with Substance Use Disorder and addiction since 2020. This year, their goal is to raise funds from the recovery walk so that they can continue to offer services (such as transportation, support groups, and recovery-related educational tools) free of charge.
On September 6th, Marshall County Hope is going to host a recovery event that will be free to the community. As part of this campaign, they will organize a recovery walk. The registration process will allow them to give away T-shirts to those who participate. A portion of the funds will be used to support their efforts with successful programs designed to support the prevention, treatment, and recovery process within Marshall County.
The Hope Walk starts at noon and will walk on Garro, Michigan, Jefferson, and Liberty Streets, ending up back at Riverpark Square.
