On Wednesday, February 22nd, 1st shift officers with the Plymouth Police Department issued a trespass notice to Amanda Minix of Knox at the Economy Inn.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Officer Vison was advised of an unwanted person in the area of Mi Camino's Restaurant.
Arriving in the area, Officer Vison checked the area and located Amanda Minix inside the lobby of the Economy Inn at 2535 North Michigan Street attempting to get a room.
Minix was then taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in for arrested for Criminal Trespass without incident. She was held on a $500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
