Due to ongoing renovations to enhance the facility, the front office of the Shelbyville / Shelby County Animal Shelter will be closed on Tuesday to ensure the safety of painters working on scaffolding.
In-person services will resume on Wednesday.
During this closure, walk-in visits will not be available. However, all other services remain operational. Community members, volunteers, and prospective adopters can still reach the staff via phone at 317-392-5127. See full services, apply to volunteer, apply to adopt, or donate on the website www.shelbyville.in.gov/animalshelter.
