A Royal Center man was recently arrested on child molesting charges after multiple reports were made to the Fulton County Department of Child Services last month about a child who was being sexually abused.

According to reports, Tyler E. Senesac, 39, of Royal Center, was charged with child molesting, a Level 1 Felony.

A probable cause affidavit revealed the Rochester Police Department was contacted by an employee with the Fulton County Department of Child Services in March about multiple reports they received in March through their hotline about a child who was allegedly being abused.

After an investigation, the child revealed that Senesac had been molesting her since she was approximately 7 years old. The girl stated the abuse included inappropriate touching and intercourse. Senesac also allegedly had showed the child pornographic videos and said he was molesting her because his wife refused to be intimate with him.

Senesac was also accused of giving the child alcohol and THC candy around the times he would molest her.

The victim told police the abuse briefly stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic when everyone was forced to be home more often. After the pandemic shut down was over, however, Senesac began abusing the child again. The victim stated often times this abuse included rape that was forceful and that Senesac would threaten her to keep her from telling anyone.

When interviewed by police on March 12, Senesac denied the allegations, claiming the victim would “fib” sometimes about small things.

Senesac was arrested on April 16 and booked at the Fulton County Jail. He was eventually released on a $50,000 surety bond.
