The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 61 in Knox County.
Beginning on or around Wednesday, July 30, crews will close State Road 61 in Verne. This closure will occur between Hickory Corner Road and South Robinson Road.
This road closure will allow for a pipe replacement project to be performed. Work is anticipated to take two days to complete, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is U.S. 41 to U.S. 50 to State Road 241. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
