A public hearing on a proposed property tax levy increase for Lawrence County has been set.
It is scheduled for Wednesday, November 19th at 3:45 p.m. CT at the Lawrence County Courthouse in Lawrenceville.
The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $3,090,200. This represents a 20.34% increase over the previous year.
