A social media post on the Dilly's Restaurant and Bar Facebook page explains why the Akron business will be closed on Sundays in the future.
The post reads:
After a lot of careful thought, consideration, and prayer, we have made the decision that Dilly’s will no longer be open on Sundays.
Our faith and our family are extremely important to us, and we’ve realized that we simply haven’t been getting enough time to devote to either. We feel that taking Sundays to slow down, spend time with our family, and focus on the Lord is the right decision for us and for our family.
We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. We know Sundays have been a part of some of your routines, and we don’t take your support for granted. We are incredibly grateful for every person who walks through our doors, orders our food, supports our small business, and continues to stand behind us. Your support means more to us than you know.
Thank you for your understanding, your continued support, and for allowing us to make this decision while still giving our family and our faith the time and attention they deserve.
