Lawrence County will soon have a new location for outdoor events.
The Chamber of Commerce along with other dignitaries were on hand Sunday for the ribbon cutting and open house for the newly rebranded Copper Courtyard and Event Center located at 715 12th Street in downtown Lawrenceville.
Local couple Ryan Cunningham and Lindsey Flexter have added an approximately 2000-foot outdoor space with a stage and a newly refurbished interior capable of hosting up to 140 people at the location culminating two years of planning.
The venue will be able to host weddings, class reunions, birthday celebrations, small concerts and other activities.
It is scheduled to officially open this Saturday June 7th when Flexter and Cunningham hold their own wedding there.
