Bowen Health has named seven current employees to new management positions.
- Four will serve as Practice Administrators, responsible for the oversight of employees and operations at their Bowen Health site.
- Two will serve as Director of Community Engagement, a county-wide ambassador for the organization, identifying community partners and underserved populations while developing initiatives to improve their access to healthcare.
- One will fill the role of Director of Healthcare Quality, a leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, quality, and performance improvement within Bowen Health.
Karla Benitez, Practice Administrator - DeKalb County
A licensed therapist, Ms. Benitez has played a vital role at Bowen Health while consistently demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a drive to make a positive impact. Since 2017, her ability to think outside the box and the connections she has developed in DeKalb County have helped patients live their best lives longer.
Elena De La Cruz Fearnow, Practice Administrator – Warsaw
An employee since 2012, Ms. De La Cruz Fearnow has a strong knowledge of Bowen Health's operations and the services provided by its community partners. She understands how to navigate the unique challenges of addressing complex patient/family needs. She also has a sharp eye for meeting contractual and regulatory requirements and, as a strong leader and collaborator, has helped Bowen Health thrive.
Bobby Fleming, Practice Administrator - Noble County
Mr. Fleming's consistent performance, passion for patients, and servant leadership have made a significant impact on Bowen Health operations since his arrival in 2019. His contributions to the organization, particularly his unwavering focus on patient well-being and his commitment to excellence, made him an excellent choice for this new position in Noble County.
Jessica Mikesell, Practice Administrator – Syracuse
Since beginning her career with Bowen Health in 2015, Ms. Mikesell has shown her dedication to patients, demonstrated her critical thinking and communication skills, and most recently provided guidance to a team at Bowen Health working to support and rebuild families. Ms. Mikesell’s contributions sped her career progression in the organization as she proved her leadership acumen and resilience.
Zachary Cook, Director of Community Engagement - Marshall County
Beginning his career at Bowen Health in 2014 as a Skills Coach, Mr. Cook was promoted to Assistant Director in Marshall County after four short years. He built strong community partnerships, fostered positive patient interactions, and became deeply involved in operations and community programs. Mr. Cook's contributions have significantly elevated the standard of healthcare in Marshall County.
Michael Murphy, Director of Community Engagement - Kosciusko County:
Mr. Murphy came to Bowen Health in 2010. During his tenure he has He served Kosciusko County in many roles including in leadership. Most recently he was Senior Director of Kosciusko County operations. He has proven his ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with patients, staff, and community stakeholders and made significant contributions in Bowen Health’s transition into integrative care.
DaNae Sainsbury, Director of Healthcare Quality
With more than six years in the Healthcare Quality field, Ms. Sainsbury has developed a comprehensive understanding of and has consistently demonstrated her commitment to ensuring the highest quality of care for Bowen Health patients. Previously serving as Assistant Director of Privacy and Compliance, she has a passion for improving the patient experience through understanding and adhering to regulatory standards.
