A yearlong investigation has ended with multiple drug-related arrests and recovery of drugs, cash and firearms.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Task Force, working in partnership with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies performed an investigation targeting drug trafficking and violent criminal activity throughout Howard County.
Task Force detectives and partnering agencies executed multiple search warrants, surveillance operations and undercover controlled narcotics buys dating back to August 2024.
As a result of the investigation:
15 arrests of high-priority individuals involved in trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl
Approximately 36 additional individuals were arrested during the operation.
The recovery of seven illegally possessed firearms
The seizure of over 18 pounds of narcotics including approximately 10,000 fentanyl laced M30 pills directly from the streets of Howard County with total street value of $300,000.
Confiscation of more than $25,000 in suspected drug proceeds

The Howard County Sheriff’s Task Force worked closely with several agencies including the Kokomo Police Department, Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force, Indiana State Police, U.S. Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and U.S. Marshals Service.
