On Wednesday, deputies with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 200 W and State Road 14 in reference to a reported domestic battery.
Deputies located the victim, who had sustained a minor head injury. The suspect, identified as Nathan Winter of Winamac, fled the scene as officers arrived.
Deputies quickly deployed the Sheriff’s Office Aviation (drone) Unit along with the K-9 Unit to assist in the search. After a coordinated effort, Winters was located approximately one mile south of the incident location. He was taken into custody without further incident.
