The historic REES Theatre is gearing up for a busy May, offering a diverse lineup of entertainment that includes comedy, classic films, and a high-energy tribute concert.
The month kicks off on Thursday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. with Magic & Hypnosis Featuring David Anthony. This interactive show blends jaw-dropping illusions with hilarious hypnosis and fast-paced audience participation, promising a memorable night of laughs and mind-bending moments.

On Wednesday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m., the theater will host the Seasoned Citizen Movie Matinee featuring the feel-good classic The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Starring Debbie Reynolds, the musical comedy follows the rags-to-riches story of the spirited Margaret “Molly” Brown. The screening is sponsored by Miller's Merry Manor.

Live music returns to the stage on Thursday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. with Elton Jeff & The Honky Cats. This full-band tribute experience captures the spirit and style of Elton John, taking audiences on a musical journey through decades of chart-topping hits like “Rocket Man” and “Bennie and the Jets.”

Finally, on Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m., The REES is partnering with Kingpin Lanes for a unique Brew & View event featuring the cult classic The Big Lebowski. After enjoying the movie at the theater, attendees can head down the road to Kingpin Lanes for an after-hours hangout featuring late-night bowling and themed drink specials, including White Russians. A special "$25 DUDE Bundle" includes both the movie ticket and bowling.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now and are expected to fill quickly. They can be purchased online through Eventbrite, in person at Na Rie Simple Treasures (104 N. Michigan), or at the Everwise Box Office at The REES on the night of the event.
