The Lawrence County Unit #20 Board of Education took action Wednesday May 20th to complete its administrative team for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.
They moved to hire Oliver Large as the new assistant principal at Parkside Elementary School in Lawrenceville. Large has been with the district as a teacher and has worked with the PASS program at the school for the past six years. He is a Lawrenceville native and Lawrenceville High School (LHS) graduate whose family has worked in education for Unit #20 in the past.
He replaces Greg Wood, who stepped down earlier and has announced his retirement after the current school year.
