A trip to Walmart proved to be catastrophic for one shopper Tuesday night.
According to the Greencastle Police Department, a subject sustained a gun wound in an accidental shooting.
Greencastle Police Chief Chris Jones confirmed to GIANT fm WREB and The Putnam County Post that a male subject was injured
"Accidental discharge by male subject carrying handgun in waist of jeans with no holster. The incident is under investigation," said Jones.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, suffered a non life threatening lower body wound, according to Jones.
