A 40-year-old Plymouth man is facing multiple felony charges, including domestic battery and drug possession, following an incident in Marshall County late Tuesday night.
According to a news release from the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to a report of a domestic situation in the 13,000 block of Nutmeg Trail at approximately 10:00 p.m. on March 31.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers initiated an investigation into the complaint. During their inquiry, law enforcement officials obtained and executed a search warrant for the residence in question.
As a result of the investigation and the subsequent search, 40-year-old Charles (Chuck) Edward Garmon III was taken into custody. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on several offenses.
Garmon is currently facing preliminary charges of:
- Domestic Battery as a Level 6 Felony
- Possession of Cocaine or a Narcotic Drug as a Level 6 Felony
- Possession of a Syringe or Needle as a Level 6 Felony
- Possession of Marijuana as a Class B Misdemeanor and
- Possession of Paraphernalia as a Class C Misdemeanor.
Garman was held on a 24-hour hold for the domestic and then released on a $3,000 cash bond.
The Sheriff's Department stated that a complete case report will be forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor's Office for a full review and the filing of formal charges.
