Bridgeport Police early Wednesday arrested a local resident after his apparent involvement in an accident. Taken into custody was Jacob Snyder of Bridgeport on preliminary charges of Reckless Driving and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. No other details regarding the accident or the arrest were given in the report. Snyder was taken to the Lawrence County Jail and was later released with a notice to appear in court.
