Jail Bookings
The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Jonathan M. Nixon, 45, South Whitley, was arrested Tuesday on preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated, public indecency and leaving the scene of a property damage crash. He was taken into custody by city police at Marathon, 855 N. State Road 25, and later released on his own recognizance.

• Michael T. Blanton, 32, Bourbon, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving while suspended. He was held on a $150 cash bond.

Police Incidents
Wrecks
• At 4:14 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report about a damaged utility pole on Fort Wayne Road near County Road 525 East. Police records indicate that tire marks and vehicle parts were located at the scene. It was requested the roadway be closed for REMC to make repairs.
• A vehicle driven by Seth Esckelson, 24, of Rochester, left the roadway and damaged a stop sign around 8 a.m. Tuesday at Sixth Street and Sweetgum Road.
Suspicious
• At 8:36 a.m. Tuesday, police and medics were dispatched to a residence near Nyona Lake on a report that a man had been outside naked for an extended period of time. It was additionally reported that he was banging on a van and tried pulling his wife out of the vehicle. He was eventually detained and transported to Woodlawn Hospital. He was then released, with potential charges to be considered by the prosecutor's office.
Warrant tip
• At 2:46 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that an individual wanted on a Marshall County warrant was in the clerk's office at the Fulton County Courthouse.
Cited
• At 5:46 p.m. Tuesday, a driver was cited with speeding 90 mph in a 60 mph zone, as well as a child restraint violation, during a traffic stop at U.S. 31 and County Road 700 North.
