An investigation has been launched in Logansport after a unidentified male was found dead in the Eel River on Tuesday.
According to reports, Indiana DNR officers were dispatched to Logansport’s Patriot Park, 133 Wheatland Ave., around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, where they discovered the body of a dead male who had been recovered from about a foot of water in the river.
Captain Jet Quillen, a public relations law enforcement officer with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, reported that an identification of the body has yet to be made and the case is still under investigation, however, they do not suspect foul play is involved in the death.
