The American Cancer Society is bringing hope to Marshall County through its annual Daffodil Day campaign, with the Marshall County Relay for Life launching its fundraising efforts with the beloved spring tradition.
Daffodil Days will take place on March 19th, offering community members a chance to spread hope to cancer patients while supporting vital cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient support programs.
The daffodil, the first flower of spring, serves as a powerful symbol of hope in the fight against cancer. Celebrating Daffodil Days is more than enjoying beautiful flowers—it's about sharing hope for a world free from cancer and bringing support to patients and their families.
Community members can order fresh daffodils to brighten their own homes or as gifts for family members, friends, and coworkers. Orders are being taken now through the March 4th deadline.
Pricing options include: one bunch of 10 fresh daffodils for $15, a vase for $5, or the Gift of Hope, a $25 donation, with the flowers being donated to a local cancer center, hospital, or nursing home.
All daffodil orders will be available for pick-up on March 19th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at 400 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth.
