Two individuals were arrested, one on Saturday and the other on Sunday for being intoxicated.
On Saturday, August 3rd 8/3/2024 at about 3:30 in the morning, Plymouth Police were dispatched to 600 Blue Ridge Trail for a report of a highly intoxicated male.
After arriving on the scene, Officer Fase located Hector Manuel Fortin-Granados. Fortin-Granados, who is only 18 years of age, was found to be highly intoxicated. He was taken to the Plymouth Hospital to be seen by medical staff and receive jail clearance. After being cleared, he was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a charge of illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage. His cash bond was paid at 5:05 p.m. on Saturday and Fortin-Granados was released on bond.
On Sunday morning August 4th at approximately 12:45 a.m., Plymouth Police located a male in Centennial Park, who was passed out on one of the picnic tables. The male was identified as 28-year-old Edward Rzepcynski of Rochester.
Rzepcynski was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail booked in for public intoxication by alcohol and held on a $250 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
