Shelbyville's St. Joseph Catholic Church and School has been purchasing surrounding properties with the goal of expanding its campus.
On Monday, the site development plan for that expansion was approved by the Shelbyville Plan Commission. It will include the construction of a new building on the southwest corner of the property and the addition of more parking spaces to fill the church’s need.
Brian Fischer spoke with GIANT fm News and Shelby County Post during the annual St. Joe Festival about the renovation and expansion.
