The Red Hill baseball Salukis returned to their winning ways Monday as they held off the Robinson Maroons 8-6 in play at the Tank Farm in Bridgeport.
The hosts scored 4 times in the bottom of the first inning to set the tone for the game. The Salukis ended up scoring 8 runs on 10 hits with 4 errors while the visitors pushed across 6 runs on 11 hits and made 5 errors.
Mitchell Ochs had 2 hits and an RBI, Carter Davis added 1 hit and 2 RBI and Bentley Brian had a hit and 2 RBI to pace the Saluki attack. Davis went 5 innings to pick up the pitching win with Avery Arbuckle notching the save.
The Salukis improve to 6-2 and are scheduled to head to Union (Dugger) Indiana Tuesday.
