Plymouth – Ronald A. Rennels, 86, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026 at Pilgrim Manor in Plymouth. The son of Malcolm and Pearl (Crum) Rennells, Ron was born at Parkview Hospital on December 7, 1942.
Ron dedicated six years of service to the Army National Guard and attended Purdue North Central. He worked for the FBI in Arlington, VA where he met Mary “Peggy” Peregoy. They were united in marriage on April 13, 1965. After returning to Indiana, Ron worked as an engineer with NIPSCO until his retirement in 2000.
Ron is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary “Peggy” Rennells of Plymouth; son, Alex Rennells of Mishawaka; siblings, Lori (Ron) Grossman of Rochester and Jan (Stan) Myers of Monroeville; along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Pearl.
Per Ron’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
