A call for a man having a seizure at Walmart Saturday night ended with him being lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
At approximately 10:52 p.m., Plymouth Police and EMS were dispatched to Walmart for 18-year-old Travis Prater of West Jefferson Street in Plymouth. Prater was located near the front of the store and was alert and speaking with officers before the medics arrived.
Prater was found to have a bottle with an unknown liquid. He admitted that the bottle contained a mixture of cough syrup and Sprite. Prater admitted to officers and EMS that the bottle he had with him was the third mixed bottle he had consumed that evening.
Speaking with Walmart employees, they said that Prater had been in and out of the store for several hours. Further investigation revealed that Prater had stolen the sprite and cough medicine from the store.
Travis Prater was placed under arrest and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for public intoxication and theft and held on a $500 cash bond.
