The Heartland Art Center is inviting the community to indulge their sweet tooth for a good cause at the upcoming "Piece of Cake" fundraiser. Scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the event will take place at The REES Theatre in downtown Plymouth.
All proceeds from the afternoon will directly benefit the Heartland Art Center’s ongoing expansion project. Billed as a "handmade plate and dessert experience," the gathering promises a unique blend of culinary and visual arts that is open to guests of all ages.
For a ticket price of $35 per person, attendees will receive a beautiful, hand-painted ceramic dessert plate to keep. Guests will be able to use their unique plates to enjoy a wide variety of delicious homemade cakes, desserts, and ice cream.
Beyond the sweet treats, the family-friendly event will feature live music, engaging art activities, a selfie station to capture memories, and more.
Space is limited for this community gathering, and organizers are encouraging interested individuals to reserve their spots today.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the Heartland Art Center’s new location in the 100 block of North Michigan Street, online by visiting www.heartlandartcenter.org, or by calling 574-314-0264.
