A Tennessee man was arrested following a domestic disturbance report.
About 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Rockville Police responded to the 800 block of North Lincoln Road for a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers learned that the suspect had battered multiple individuals before fleeing on foot.
A short time later, officers located the suspect, Paul Sexton, 35, of Knoxville, Tennessee, running through an open field west of the residence. Officers pursued and were able to take him into custody. Sexton was found to have outstanding warrants from Montgomery County, Indiana, as well as from Tennessee.
Sexton was transported to the Parke County Jail and booked on those warrants in addition to new local charges, including domestic battery, battery, criminal mischief, possession of methamphetamine, and resisting law enforcement.
The Rockville Police Department was assisted by the Parke County Sheriff’s Office.
