The lead line replacement project in the city of St. Francisville is approximately half completed.
That according to a summary given to the City Council Wednesday night by project engineer Seth Flach of the firm Milano and Grunloh out of Effingham.
He indicated that 149 meters have now been replaced and the work continues.
It is anticipated that the project could wrap up in mid-June, weather permitting.
The council did approve payment to Bryant Construction for the work already done.
The over $11 million Cannonball Bridge project is about 58% complete.
Samron poured concrete on Wednesday of this week as the work progresses.
The council did approve the date of Friday, May 16th as City Wide Cleanup Day.
Additional information regarding the annual affair will be released in the coming days by the city.
