Governor Eric J. Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in Madison and Tipton Counties in honor of Walter Merrill Taylor, the former Mayor of Elwood.
Taylor passed away at the age of 84 on August 8.
Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset in Madison and Tipton Counties on Friday. Governor Holcomb is asking businesses and residents located in those counties to lower their flags as well.
