Plymouth Police arrested a Plymouth man on an active warrant the evening of Wednesday, October 28th.
At 5:45 p.m., Patrolman Thornton located 46-year-old Jesus Uribe Camargo at 2401 North Michigan Street — the Oak Ridge Village Mobile Home Park, just north of U.S. 30. Camargo was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked at 6:05 p.m.
He was held on a failure-to-appear warrant stemming from a misdemeanor charge. Camargo remained in custody until 7:25 p.m., when his cash bond was posted and he was released.
The arrest was carried out without incident. No additional charges were reported.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
