A physical altercation between a brother and sister lands the brother in the Marshall County Jail.

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to 421 Gilmore Street Tuesday morning at 3 for a domestic disturbance involving strangulation.

Officer Wallace began an investigation and determined that Tate Dunsizer, 21, of the Gilmore Street address, had been involved in a physical altercation with his sister.

Dunsizer was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was lodged on pending charges of domestic battery and strangulation. He was given a court date with Marshall County Superior Court III and a cash bond of $1,500.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
