City police arrest two for driving while suspended with a prior

Officer Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department arrested two individuals on Wednesday morning, who had suspended driving statuses.

On December 10th at 11:52, Officer Krynock stopped a vehicle being driven by 29-year-old Brandon W. Thomas Jr. of Ed Cook Boulevard in Plymouth for an infraction. It was determined that Thomas had a license status of suspended-prior. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail, given a court date of January 13, and held on a $500 cash bond.

61-year-old Kenneth R. Williams of Kewanna was stopped for a traffic infraction at 10:57 Wednesday morning at Pioneer Drive and Lincoln Highway. Williams was found to have a license status of suspended-prior. He was lodged in the County Jail, with a January 13th court date and a $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
