A review of an ordinance violation regarding multiple homes on property in the city was held Thursday, November 5th by the Bridgeport City Council with no formal action taken, but with a recommendation for action in the future.
The review was brought about by a citizen request about the legality of locating multiple small homes on single lots in the city. The council met with the property owners in question to discuss coming to a solution to the situation without them having to move the existing structures.
After a lengthy discussion, the council made a recommendation that the ordinance in question be studied and modified in the future to everyone's satisfaction. They could not take action on the matter since an ordinance revision was not on the agenda. There could be action taken at the upcoming November regular meeting.
