The Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association’s Girls Underclass All-District 3 team includes a pair of Shelby County juniors.
All selections were voted upon by the HBCA member coaches to be recognized as among the best underclass players in Southern Indiana.
Maddy Jones, Shelbyville’s leading scorer this past season at 10 ppg was one of 11 players selected to represent District 3.
Also honored was Triton Central’s leading scorer Maryrose Felling (22 ppg). Felling currently sits fourth on Triton Central’s career scoring list.
The other District 3 selections were Batesville’s Madelyn Haskamp, Columbus North’s Kaylie Harmon, Avery Johnson and Kenna Conrad, East Central’s Natalie Stenger, Franklin County’s Ruby Singer, Greensburg’s Claire Larrison, Indian Creek’s Alexa Sichting, and Jennings County’s Mollie Ernstes.
