A former Red Hill Saluki and Oakland City pitcher has signed a professional baseball contract.
Congratulations to Landen Ray who inked a deal with the independent Great Falls (Montana) Voyagers of the Pioneer League.
The righthander pitched for the Oakland City Oaks the past two seasons and helped lead them to the NAIA National Baseball Championships both years. He was outstanding last season with 7 wins in 15 appearances while posting a 3.17 ERA with 70 strikeouts in 71 innings pitched and was a River States Conference first team pitching selection.
Ray has also pitched for the Olney Central College (OCC) Blue Knights and the Terre Haute Rex of the Prospect League.
